Erik is FSFE's Fellowship coordinator and community builder. He supports FSFE's friends and sustaining members individually or inside various groups over Europe to engage for Free Software. Whenever you have a question or need support for your community, Erik is the first and best to contact.

Erik runs Document Freedom Day, FSFE`s global campaign to address the importance of Open Standards. In addition, he manages "Ask your Candidates" and "Freedom pacts" projects, FSFE's Free Software campaigns during democratic elections. Erik also designs and runs FSFE's outreach and promotion material section.

Erik helds a Master degree in Politics, Sociology, Art and Media Science. He is interested in copyright and -left, freedom of speech and Digital Restrictions Management. Besides Free Software, Erik supports Free Culture and Free Knowledge.
