Free mail service

Hello,

I'm a new fellow, and I want to use my @fsfe.org alias.

The problem is that I can't found a free (as in freedom) mail service that is good for me.

I want to leave gmail because "is too creepy", the best service i looked until now is inbox.com, and i think is the one i'll use.

Have you got any suggestion? What mail service do you use?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Free mail service

What exactly do you mean by a "free mail service"? Do you want to see a list of software it uses? Should their server be driven by GNU/Linux?

Even if the provider uses exclusivly Free Software, s/he could still be "creepy". It all depends how far you can trust him/her. I personally use a bunch of different addresses from various providers.

You can get a "free" email account and a log-on at http://www.trash.net/. I would consider them free as in freedom. It's not free as in free beer though (30€/year).

Greetings,

 Guido

Re: Free mail service

I just figured that their page is in German only. But I am sure they can provide you with the necessary info in English when you send them an email
