adding live bookmarks

It would be good if people's blogs had live bookmarks. For example, to do this for my blog, this html would have to be added to the section of my blog webpage: An example of a website with live bookmarks is Slashdot. When you go there (in Firefox at least) there's an orange square in the address bar. If you click it, a dialogue box offers to add a live bookmark to firefox's bookmarks toolbar. Then you can see slashdot headlines by clicking the new button instead of by going to slashdot.org.

example on home page

I just noticed that the home page of fsfe.org has a live bookmark for the Fellowship news feed - so if the Fellowship coders are looking for example code to set up live bookmarks for people's blogs, they might be able to copy the code from there.
