I am a student of Cultural Sciences at Lüneburg, Germany, and have been working with the FSFE since October 2005.
Among my key interests are the interrelations between information/ communication technologies, culture and society, science, and politics.
Recently, I have been focussing on search engines and their impact on society.
I'be been working as a webmaster, a system administrator, as an editor and layout man, as student's representative, at the university's computer center and library.
Together with others, I organised Download Culture?, a series of lectures about the IT/knowledge complex. The (German) talks are available for download and as streaming video.
