koalatux Location:	Saturday 22 April 2006 10:20:53 am cryptocard not working? Hi I've got a SCR335 card reader and I configured it as described in the HOWTO. But I just couldn't get it running. Then I tried pcsc_scan, this is the output when I insert the card and remove it again: ---cut--- $ pcsc_scan PC/SC device scanner V 1.4.4 (c) 2001-2006, Ludovic Rousseau Compiled with PC/SC lite version: 1.3.0 Scanning present readers 0: SCM SCR 335 (6010146e) 00 00 Tue Apr 11 21:00:47 2006 Reader 0: SCM SCR 335 (6010146e) 00 00 Card state: Card removed, Tue Apr 11 21:00:58 2006 Reader 0: SCM SCR 335 (6010146e) 00 00 Card state: Card inserted, Unresponsive card, Tue Apr 11 21:01:15 2006 Reader 0: SCM SCR 335 (6010146e) 00 00 Card state: Card removed, ---cut--- It shows some information with other smartcards. Also the LED on the card reader goes on with other cards, but just not with the cryptocard. Is my card damaged? I emailed to fellowship@fsfeurope.org twice but I still got no response. greets Adrian Friedli

Hello Adrian, I am not sure I can give you good suggestions here, but have you tried accessing the card without pcscd active, using only gpg? Did you already try following the howto as described on http://fsfe.org/en/card ? Sorry for the late reply Stef

Hello Adrian, I am not sure I can give you good suggestions here, but have you tried accessing the card without pcscd active, using only gpg? Did you already try following the howto as described on http://fsfe.org/en/card ? Sorry for the late reply Stef
