maffulli Location: Milan, Italy	Wednesday 26 October 2005 11:25:08 am Adding a 'news' or 'event' entry Like in the other portal, anybody can add news or events. Differently from the other system where events and news where scattered all around the places, in this one they will be published under the folders https://www.fsfe.org/en/news and https://www.fsfe.org/en/events. To add either of the two go to your folder and you will see two buttons: "Add news" and "Add event". Click on the one you prefer, write your entry and click on "Send for publishing". The content will be reviewed and approved by the site editors. We have four editors at the moment but we are looking for more volunteers helping us in this job.

I think the directories will get REALLY cluttered soon if we just throw everything into one directory without any sorting, naming conventions and so on. Can we sort events & news by year? Sorting news entries?

I think the directories will get REALLY cluttered soon if we just throw everything into one directory without any sorting, naming conventions and so on. Can we sort events & news by year? Maybe even year and month? Would eZ Publish find news and events that are put into 2005/10 subfolders?
