The Ada & Zangemann Movie

Following the success of the illustrated book "Ada & Zangemann - A Tale of Software, Skateboards, and Raspberry Ice Cream", the story is since 2024 also available as an animated movie.

Released as an Open Educational Resource, under a Creative Commons By Share-Alike Licence, it tells tells the story of the famous inventor Zangemann and the girl Ada, a curious tinkerer. Ada begins to experiment with hardware and software, and in the process realises how crucial it is for her and others to control technology.

This fascinating story, written by Matthias Kirschner, illustrated by Sandra Brandstätter and animated by Monströös, encourages children, especially girls, to tinker with hardware and software and encouraging them to shape their own technology.

The movie is released in the languages below. For each additional language versions we require roughly 3600€ in donations. Please contact us about planed language versions.
