Election results

FSFE's Fellows have elected their second representative to the organisation's governing body, the General Assembly. Julia Klein will join Torsten Grote in FSFE's strategic decision making body to speak for the Fellows for the next two years.

Running against the second Fellowship candidate Björn Schießle, Julia won on a turnout of 19.29 percent. The election was conducted during the month of February using the Condorcet voting method.

FSFE's President Karsten Gerloff says: “It has been great to see the energy and creativity which both Julia and Björn bring to FSFE. I'm grateful to both of them for being prepared to take on the responsibility of working on FSFE's strategy. Congratulations to Julia, and welcome to the General Assembly!”

Thanks also to all Fellows who participated in the election process and again made this a valuable experience for the Fellowship and for FSFE. In particular, thanks to Julia, and Björn for running as candidates and for their efforts during the campaign. And of course, congratulations to Julia!
